I was awarded a first-class honor in Bachelor of Education (Science), Mathematics and Physics in the year 2022 award and conferment of degrees of the University of Embu. The University of Embu advertised scholarship application via University of Embu website and direct mails. I applied for the scholarship by filling the application form and attached all the required documents. My application was approved and I was notified through a phone call for the approval in September 2022. I was enrolled for Masters of Science in Applied Mathematics with classes starting from September 2022. I thank God for the favor and also the University of Embu for the award.

Am interested in Applied Mathematics which is the most prestigious profession, to impact knowledge to learners and more so to motivate the lessened girl child in the society.

Humility brings forth success and every hardworking hand has never gone unrewarded. Having worked smart in my four-year course in Bachelor of Education(science), mathematics and chemistry at the University of Embu, brought some light in my career life. In September 2021, I was awarded a first-class honor. The University then advertised for application of scholarships through the university website. I couldn’t let this opportunity slide because my dream of becoming an applied mathematician was almost turning into reality.

I applied for the scholarship specifically in applied mathematics by writing a letter to the registrar of the University of Embu and attached all the required documents. My application was approved and I was notified through a short message. I enrolled for masters of science in applied mathematics with classes starting from January 2022. Having been a tough journey my gratitude goes to Almighty God, the University of Embu fraternity, my parents, my friends and myself.

Furthering my studies will help me impact knowledge, achieve my career goals and give back positively to the community.
