Short Biography

Maurice Wanyonyi earned a B.Sc. (first-class honors) in Statistics in 2019 and an M.Sc. in Statistics in 2021 from the University of Embu (Kenya). He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Statistics at the University of Embu, where he also serves as a Teaching Assistant. His research interests include machine learning applications in healthcare and finance, survival analysis, explainable AI, and statistical modeling. Mr. Wanyonyi has published and co-authored several papers in peer-reviewed journals, focusing on predictive modeling, economic forecasting, and statistical applications in public health.

Machine learning applications in healthcare and finance; statistical modeling; survival analysis; ensemble learning; explainable AI; time series analysis; stochastic modeling; Bayesian inference.
