I was lucky enough to win a Master’s of Science scholarship in Applied Mathematics in the year 2017 in the University of Embu. This was because of my commendable achievement in my undergraduate studies, where I graduated with a first class honors in Mathematics and Physics from University of Nairobi in the year 2016. My sincere gratitude goes to University of Embu management for the offer. The MSc journey began in September 2017. I was taught and supervised by Dr. Dominic Kitavi Makaa and Dr. Cyrus Gitonga Ngari, Lecturers at University of Embu. My MSc area of research was Statistical Signal Processing. I managed to publish one paper in the journal of Advances in Mathematics and Computer Science. My MSc journey ended in September 2019, where I graduated with a Master’s of Science degree in Applied Mathematics. I am very grateful to my supervisors Dr. Dominic Kitavi Makaa and Dr. Cyrus Gitonga Ngari for their sincere support, commitment and guidance throughout my MSc research work and also for being with me through the difficult times. I owe alot of my growth in mathematics to their great contributions.

Currently I am a Teaching Staff at University of Embu from October 2019, pursuing a doctorate degree in Applied mathematics. My current area of research is Epidemiological modelling.
